Great interview. Your guest is absolutely correct about the Hasbara brigade.

Here is a first rate example of these folks in action on the recent Pat Buchanan column about the Gaza flotilla.

Warning: if you decided to look at this you need the equivalent of a Cray super computer’s memory because of the obsolete software Town Hall uses. The comments are one huge thread of 624 posts, 95% against Buchanan.

I know most of these people are Hasbara from time spent in the past commenting on Buchanan foreign policy columns and most of the names are from people that weren’t there before. Pat’s columns about Israel usually attract a number of negative comments (around 150-200 tops), but never like this one did. This was an all out effort by Hasbara and it shows up by the uniform way most of the comments are written. It is if talking points were distributed via Megaphone. Negative terms used against Pat- nazi, antisemite, with calls for Town Hall to stop posting Pat’s columns, etc. Positive spin place upon Israel- only democracy, ally, fighting terrorist, etc.

I would love to examine the IP numbers to see their origins. I suspect most of them come out of NYC, LA, south Florida and of course, Israel. There was one person who tried to pass herself as a Hungarian Catholic I caught lying.

These people are as vile as you can get and are getting desperate.
