At ukcolumn.org a great historian called John Morton hs written “The Universal History of Western Civilisation: Who are we really?” He talks about the great friendship of Charlemagne and Harun al Rashid - and it is REALLY worth reading. It seems to me that the Vatican has been run, or at least infiltrated, almost from it’s beginning.
